Big miss when he went off.

I don’t like Guendouzi very much, just saying

I thought he fell on his back. Muscle injury is bad news. We will miss both auba and lucas badly against Chelsea

Its similar to wenger years when we had cesc etc, albeit less quality. A thin squad which is okay played and breaks down. The gamble on promoting willock as a midfielder hasn't paid off this season.

It's a chance for Guendouzi who is hopefully ready to learn a different way of playing under Arteta. If he can simplify his game, move the ball quicker and hold position then he could oust Torreira because of his physicality. I don't see why Guendouzi couldn't learn to do those things unless he didn't want to.

Or he isn't as good.

They play in different positions, Guendo is a libero, Torreira a holding midfielder who occassionally goes forward. Can Guen adapt?
