Match against Tiny Totts - the difference betwen Newcastle and us is that we have David Luiz

C'mon, you can't expect David Luiz to change overnight and started focussing 100% and morphed immediately into an inspiring leader that can organised and lead our DEFENCE.

Lampard is not saying much. But all fingers are pointing out to one clear fact - Luiz will continue to have lapses in the box, panicky when players getting passed him and just unable to link up the Back-4 into a compact unit.

I believe it was Conte who discovered that Luiz is best in a Back-3 with his perchance to drive into midfield where his accurate long passes are an asset to change the direction of play.

Then, against an attacking threat of Kane, Moura and Wink driving into the centre, and if Emery decided again to play a narrow diamond to counter all those passes and crosses from the flanks, he will need a Back-3 with Luiz at the tip floating between Back-4 and a libero cum DCM.

And we need more help from our Midifeld-3 to cover the flanks and to protect our wingbacks instead of allowing the likes of Son and Lamela treating our flanks like an autobahn to cross accurately or to cut into out boxes to force a penalty from some daft defencing by Luiz.

The key to Tiny Totts tearing us to shreds and beat us is that Kane is a superb link-man, able to hold the ball in the box and feeding Son and Moura with a clear shot at goals. it is vital that Sokratis and Chambers provide the muscle to nullify the threat of Kane in the box, and hopefully AMN can challenge and stop Son. oh well …

With rumor of the impending departure of Monreal, look more likely that Kolasinac will be our wingback with Chambers and Xhaka helping to protect the left flank. Do we need an all-action Aubameyang or Ceballos at the left flank unning box-to-box till they ran into the ground, exhausted and substituted by 70th minute?

Again, I prefer Ceballos in the centre, unless of course, Ozil is ready to play as No. 10.

..... ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... Leno

..... Chambers ..... Luiz ..... Sokratis

... AMN ..... Torreira ..... Xhaka ..... Kolasinac

..... ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... Ozil
..... Pepe ..... .......... ..... ..... ..... ..... Aubameyang

Guess, we have no choice but to outscore Tiny Totts, like winning 3-2 or 4-3 or even 5-4.

It will be a high-scoring game with our porous defence and Tiny Totts defence is not that good nowadays with Ventonghen frozen out and Trippier gone.

this game is two wounded animals fighting to inflict mortal wounds whose defences are crippled and who can inflict more damages to a crippled defence to win the battle.

Can Pepe, Aubamyang and Ozil/Ceballos outscored Kane, Moura, Son and Lamela?

And of course, I am counting that Eriksen will be gone by 1 September, or on the bench to get his head screwed right after the disappointment of Real or Barca not bidding for him.
