I never thought I'd see the day that the owners took notice of poor results.

That's my point they don't usually care, maybe even they realised it was bad.

Why don’t they care? Of course they do, it’s a £1bn investment. Arsenal have left transfer fees on the pitch and not maximised commercial deals. We’ve actually spent a decent amount of money, just in a haphazard way. The only thing you can really criticise them for is not getting rid of Gazidis and Wenger sooner. Raul has had a magic summer, far better than we could’ve imagined.

wenger was THE PROBLEM.
KSE kept him around for far too long.

Gazidis was a cockroach that should have been exterminated with the end of wenger's reign.

I think the cockroach ran before he was stamped on.

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

C'mon, Silent Stan has no choice due to declining revenues from sponsors and advertisers whose expenditures are tie to performances on the pitch and exposure to TV Broadcasting.
Missing CL Cup not only loses lucrative income from UEFA and also declining advertising revenues and sponsorships.

And he needed marquee names like Auba, Laca, Ozil and now Pepe to push merchandises.

What Josh did is to invest 45-mil in the hope of increasing revenues by another 50-mil to maintain that 400-mil plus turnover.

Without further investment on the pitch, wouldn't surprise me that turnovers can drop to as low as 350-mil within 2 to 3 years time if Arsenal FC continues to decline and fighting for 6th, 7th and 8th spot with the likes of Everton, Leicester City, Wolves and West Ham.

By December, if we are out of the title race, out of Top-4 contention and hovering at mid-table, guess what will happen?

'The more things change, the more they remain the same' Alphonse Karr.
