UEL Cup FInal - Time to drop Cech
Merlion96 22 May, 2019 05:39
o time for sentiment.
Just field the best team that can will UEL Cup.

Just look at Man City running over Watford when they decided not field Foster or Foster refused to play and let Gomes played instead.

Just looked at Sarri losing League Cup when that twit kappa refused to give way to Cabello.

Lesson learnt. just drop Cech and play the best team.

..... ..... ..... ..... ..... Leno

..... ..... Sokratis ... Koscielny ... Monreal

... AMN ..... Torriera ..... Xhaka ..... Kolasinac

..... ..... ..... ..... ..... Ozil

..... Aubameyang ..... ..... Lacazette

Sarri had learnt his lesson and knew how to counter Emery tactics now.

Jorginho is fully integrated into the team and will take command of midfield and will be extremely tough for Xhaka to close him down.

Hazard is reaching his peak and will tear our flanks to shreds with the help of either pedro and/or Willian.

Ross Barkley will easily overcome and brush aside Torreira; plus nobody in our team can touch Kante when he is driving forward and closes down our forwards and Ozil.

He is Sarri secret weapon to bulldoze through our weak centre and bullies Sokratis and Koscielny into submission.
In dead ball situations, expect Giroud to win all knock-downs with quick forwards in Hazard and Pedro darting in to score.

Any chance of winning?

No way.
There is a quantum gap between Arsenal and Top-4 with this bunch of Arsene Wenger leftovers.
After all, how can you score when Chelski utterly controlled the midfield with zero service to Auba, Laca and Ozil?

Expect a slaughtering of 4-0 or 5-0 or 6-0.
After all, it is an away game.

They've announced he'll be rejoining Chelsea as director from next season.

This is as good a reason as any to drop him. He's a liability at the back and now joining the opponents next season. Plus he can't save a penalty.

We need to play our best team, hope Unai doesn't bottle the decision.

We have to win ... HAVE TO WIN.

Leno has to play.

We are soft and have been for years. Cech will play and probably cost us.

That is my fear as well. It's a game of small margins and with Champions League football resting on the game, it would be an unnecessary risk to play Cech.

Leno for sure should start, this is about next season and Cech is gone. He is a professional and would understand the stance by Emery.

The key to the game is the first 15 minutes and slim margins like a keeper mistake can cost us, thus Leno has to start and live with whatever happens with him.

Leno can make mistakes but he must play.
He is our number one keeper & we can't mess around in this game.
