Welbeck going to Baku ?
Boston Gooner 17 May, 2019 23:02
The England international hasn't played since breaking an ankle in November, an injury that required double surgery.

But he has returned to full training and it is understood the club are planning to take the forward to Baku where they face Chelsea on May 29.

Not to sure this is true.

If he's being released, it means we don't need him. Taking him to the final having not played a game in 6 months states otherwise.

It might be a desperation option for the bench, but that says more about how s.hit our squad is than anything else.

It does show how threadbare squad is, but as it is likely that Mikhy will not travel it will be useful to have wing back cover, if he is fit

Aren’t we allowed 12 subs for the final?

Playing Welbeck would be a bit of risk, surely.I know he'd only come on as sub, but even so.
