Team next season

So, it's obviously hard to predict - depends on whether we qualify for the Champions League and therefore have more money to spend and more attraction to players we seek; depends on injuries & how some young players develop; depends on who we get as Technical Director - Overmars or someone else etc......

But my assumptions on who will leave are;

* Cech, Ramsey, Wellbeck, Ospina, Macey, Bramall, Pleguezuelo - DEFINITELY
* Monreal, Lichsteiner, Jenkinson, Elneny, Bielik, Asano, Nwakali, Mustafi - PROBABLY
* Ozil, Suarez - POSSIBLY

My assumptions on new players are:

* A new goalkeeper either as 2nd or 3rd choice alongside Leno (1st) & Martinez - Heaton ?
* A new left back - Tagliafico?
* A new central defender - de Ligt ?
* A new winger - Sarr ?

My assumptions on the squad:

* We bring back from loan: Chambers, Smith-Rowe & maybe Nelson
* We promote to the first team squad: Saka, Smith-Rowe, Nketiah, Ballard or Medley

The squad then looks something like this (Ozil left out):

Goalkeepers; Leno & Martinez or ANO/Heaton
Defenders: Bellerin/Jenkinson; Holding/Koscielny/Ballard, New CB/Sokratis/Mavraponos; New LB/Kolasinac/Medley
Midfield: Torreira/Chambers, Guendouzi/Maitland-Niles/Willock; Xhaka/Suarez, Mkhitaryan/Smith-Rowe
Attack: Lacazette/ Nketiah, Aubameyang/Nelson, Iwobi/New winger/Saka

What do you think ?

I think we should be looking to sign a cb, cm, rb and winger in that order of priority.

I think Nacho can do one more season if he is rotated.

Wasn't at all impressed with sarr over the games against us. Fast and powerful but poor control and link up play throughout. Hoping we will get someone else or just stick with Iwobi, mkhi and suarez.

Some good calls dj.
Heaton's a good GK. I hear we're looking at Newcastle's Dubravka. I also think if Cardiff go down, Etheridge could be a good option. I don't now if those first 2 would be interested in playing 2nd fiddle to Leno though.

A lot will depend on, if we get CL footy next season, as to how much we'll have to spend. So it's all pie in the sky talk anyways, but we do have to replace Rambo, Welbz and Elmeny. As well as get a winger, a RB and a CB. I still like Ricardo Rodriguez from Milan as a replacement for Nacho.

Self sustainable is a word that rich people with short arms and deep pockets use.

Imagine getting rid of Özil and not replacing him with a dembele like signing
The future is now!!!!!!!

Rumours that this young Brazilian might be in the squad by next year:

I like the team, but cant see Ozil leaving, who will take him or better yet why would he leave?

I would off load Miki then and keep Ozil, I want to see Nelson and Saka next season actually get a chance to play some, we cant make the Gnabry mistake again.
