Get me a sick bucket! Five Live has stopped normal programmes 30 minutes early so they can endlessly discuss points difference, goal difference, past matches, past points tallies at this stage. I get it, it's an important match, it is not a cup final, anything can happen afterwards despite the result - oh yeh, they've covered that too.

Just in case you're interested -
Man City: Ederson, Stones, Kompany, Laporte, Danilo, Bernardo Silva, Fernandinho, Silva, Sterling, Aguero, Sane. Subs: Walker, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Mahrez, Otamendi, Gabriel Jesus, Muric.

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, van Dijk, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Milner, Salah, Firmino, Mane. Subs: Fabinho, Keita, Sturridge, Moreno, Lallana, Mignolet, Shaqiri.

And with 8 mins gone its 0-0

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

Ha, a 0-0 draw would leave all the media in the same position.

Got to hope City win - don't want Liverpool to be "invincible" this season

By the way, just saw that Santi Cazorla put Villareal up against Real Madrid earlier this evening - how we miss him....

LaPorte is the weak link.
Panicky and can't pass. He is no better than Sokratis and just taller.
When we play Man City next, we should run at him.

Aguero looks passed it.
Guardiola will have a striker crisis soon if Aguero and Jesus do not pick up.

Stones, Kompany, Bernando, Sterling and Sane all put in good performances but Fernandinho... wow. Absolute monster performance.

Yeah great game.

And our unbeatable record stands alone for another season.

I wish we had a left back like Robertson. Scouts should be working double time to find somebody who fits that profile.

Frankly where our scouts actually scout is baffling we have missed loads of good young players from our own backyard whilst trying to unearth the proverbial sill purse from a shows ear.Conor Coady hey Matty

Our scouts have left us down big time in the past 5 years. In pretty happy with recent signings barring lichsteiner.

Im happy with Torreira, guendouzi, Sokratis and leno. If we get 4 more of those, 3 in defense and 1 winger id be happy

Lichsteiner was free transfer as backup. Torreira was excellent signing n other 3 are good signings.

Yeah am saying hes not good enough to be 2nd choice. Your second choice is supposed to be good enough to fill for injuries. Considering that bellerin himself hasnt played well consistently, and if im feeling that lichsteiner isnt good enough, that tells a story.

Id prefer jenkinson of old over lichsteiner. Current jenkinson might be worse though but lichsteiner was a bad bad signing. Considering he was at Juve, i never thought his decision making would be this bad. I'm not talking about his lack of pace, but his brains and decision making
