So what do you think of our new strips? The home shirt was released some days ago and I’m not a massive fan, just because I’m a traditionalist on football kits, so don’t like the black sleeves in particular. The body is a bit busy too, IMHO. Maybe it’s growing on me a bit.

BUT in true keeping and in line with many sides for 2020/21, our away kit, released today, seems to want to resurrect many a 1990 garish, Gordy and frankly WTF styles!! This away strip is utterly bizarre, no, not a fan!!

Anybody going to buy one??!!

Home: Raul is making the best of this inverse Arsenal top.

Away: WTF is this!! 😂😳

I don't mind the home shirt Ivy as it still essentially maintains the old gold (almost!) and black, but the away shirt is bloody awful.

I don't like black sleeves either and that away shirt is horrendous. The prospect of wearing that probably explains why Doherty is off.

It's the black stripes that put me off the home shirt rather than the sleeves and I can only assume the away shirt was designed by someone accompanied by a guide dog.

I stopped wearing football shirts in my early 30s as i always think someone wearing a replica shirt in middle age looks a bit childish/silly. I'd maybe wear one to a major cup final but walking around town in one over a certain age seems ridiculous tbh.. I stopped wearing tracksuit bottoms as I left my teens and stopped watching cartoons when I left primary school. All eras end

Looking at the shirt again, the big M looks like a Mcdonalds sign and the manbetx looks like an advert for a dodgy gindr site.

😂 @ Angry
Looks like I might be in the childish / silly category, I still wear ‘some’ of our past tops, I own the complete works on DVD of Tom and Jerry (Fred Quimby era etc) and the original Clangers, Hectors House and the Herbs however draw the line at wearing track suit bottoms!

In terms of my old Wolves tops (of which I have quite a few), I prefer the retro replica these days but I think the desire to wear them stems from the almost complete lack of availability when I was younger, except perhaps if you were lucky in the sports section in Beatties.

Agree about the sponsor, looks daft.

Back to the away kit. Our worst top ever? Probably.

Fred Quimby's were the best Tom and Jerry. Not too keen on the MGM ones.

I was brought the home shirt as b’day present... and the prospect of owning a home shirt with my name on the back was delightful... until it arrive, the Effying thing is see through... though doesn’t look or feel to bad on!
