The Doc is to undergo surgery on his knee which possibly explains his recent omission from the squad. Will give Traore a chance to make a name for himself.

It also explains his form when he has been in the squad. Good luck to him and for a swift and effective return to the first XI

We certainly need a fit again Doc, and it is a reminder of how few injuries we have had . Diet and the very latest monitoring techniques have been given to us as the principal reasons and it certainly makes a pleasant change from the times when the team were laughably falling apart, sometimes just in training. However, you would imagine that in these big money days all the teams know what do do, but we still having been getting away with it.
In any case Traore and Doherty have very different skill sets and while it has been a joy watching Adama’s recent improved contributions he still has a lot to do defensively.
Fireworks ahead?
