Wolves v Liverpool weekend of 5th January.

We were amongst the last left in the hat, including Albion and Villa, however it's Liverpool at home!

Toughy, great opportunity for a great cup tie

Well Ivy we've beaten them at Anfield in the Cup, so now it's a chance to beat them at Molineux - he said laughingly!!! Let's hope they are too tied up with European matches and have to put out their third team!!

Gutted.

I always want us to draw type Fleetwood at home in the FA Cup.

I am always up for the cup, allthough I realise not many are anymore.

I want us to go far, getting Pool in that context is something of a nightmare.

A case of go big or go home?

I suspect that Pool will rotate pretty hard in this one.
I am up for the Cup and I definetly would like to see us starting with the best possible team available at the time.

That would give us a good chance to knock Liverpool out of the tournament.

I live in hope.Go big Nuno!

Nuno is NOT going to field a top team. John Ruddy and the wanna-be’s Will be out there, with Traore and a few of the other ‘nearly men’ on the sub bench.
And quite right too. The glow of the last two matches has not worn off yet, but neither has that sinking November feeling. Cup is fun but not as important as solidifying our league position.

I fully suspect you are right Chicago.

I cannot remember when the last time was when we played our strongest team in the FA Cup.2003 against Soton perhaps?

Not even twenty years ago when we was in the semifinal and Mr Magoo himself benched both Bully and Robbie Keane.I will never forgive that unimaginable blunder, nor forget sadly.

We will most probably be seen as in with a shot to reach place six or seven early January,so I fully expect a fringe side for us.

Well,well...could Stears and Weimann score against them last time perhaps Bonatini and Traore can do likewhise this time round?

One gotta have hope!

It's reasonable to assume that Liverpool will make plenty of changes but even if they do, they can still put out a strong side so I hope we keep changes to a minimum and play a strong side too. We won't be finishing in the top four and it will take a collapse of epic proportions for us to go down. There is a chance we could qualify for Europe but there is a chance to do that via the FA Cup so I can't see the point in making wholesale changes. I'm hoping for a strong team and give it a good go.

Could be a great night. We have matched the bigger teams already this season and Liverpool will make changes so let’s go for it.

We are mid table. As per AF, our current inconsistent form suggests we will struggle to push higher than 7th and exceptionally unlikely to be relegated. At the risk of repeating myself ad nauseum over the years ..... the cup is the only silver ware we are likely to contend for.

Let's bloody go for it!! Decent side please Nuno.

Well, Ivy, your wish granted. Not a great game but what a result. And looking at the draw you have to laugh at all the All Premier fixtures thinning out the opposition in the 5th round, assuming we can get through

The problem is that it only takes one team to knock us out and with Man city putting out a strong team in every round, it's looking fairly hopeless for everyone else. It's great to see us take the cup seriously as it's our only chance of silverware as mentioned with nothing but pride to play for in the league.

Maybe we could get beat by man City in the final. Then we qualify for Europa anyway
