yeah that was the way i saw it tom, we were much improved today, i would aswell like to see price back in the side, he never gives the ball away and adds that extra protection to mack. ofobe probably had his worst game in a wolves shirt, a few times he couldn't get the ball under control and then when we broke, made the wrong decision on a couple of occasions too, williamson had a good debut and holt didn't do that bad coming on with a few good flick ons which could have made it more. funny to here rowett's view on the match, he reckon's it was all b'ham

Another good write up Tom, and I agree with your observations. By and large I thought McDonald had a very good game, always seeming cool in control of the ball, and well supported by Coady and Edwards. I think Henry needs to look for someone to pass to when he gets into the penalty area rather than always taking a shot, although he did have one good effort. Afobe just had a bad day at the office when nothing was going to go right for him and no surprise to see him withdrawn.

The player who worries me a bit at the moment is Golbourne. I don't think he's performing as well as last season, making some silly errors and letting attacks get through him. He and Ojo seem to be falling over whenever a player is near them looking for free kicks, which personally I find annoying at any time, and doubly disappointing when it's our players doing it!!

I thought it was relatively comfortable but people pay far too much attention to league positions at this stage of the season. Other forums were quaking in their boots at the thought of us visiting a "top 6 side" not bright enough to realise a couple of wins / defeats send a sides position up and down like a wh.ores backside.

Birmingham during the last few years have had one of the worst home records in Europe and haven't a prayer of a playoff place so found the sky commentators continual statements of a "potential upset " being on the cards insulting / patronising. That said jackett deserves credit for us possessing more spirit / team shape / tactical play which has paid dividends in recent weeks even from set pieces which have clearly been worked on

A good win! Need to beat Bristol City in the week though on the back of this ! It shows there's at least a bit of spirit in the side to come back from recent slaughterings!!. Well done wolves this week tho.
