back from suspension

Yeovil Town have their last home game of the season this afternoon against John Ward's Colchester United in what is the Glovers last home game of the season.

Safety was assured on Easter Monday when they earned a 2-2 draw away at Peterborough United, where in a manic two and a half minute period, three goals were scored. But the draw meant that the Green and Whites are mathematically safe from the drop, so can enjoy their final two matches safe in the knowledge that they can enjoy League One football next year.

Both sides have nothing to play for anymore, with the U's now unable to reach the play-offs. It is only pride at stake, but the players who contracts run out at the end of the season will be hoping to impress manager Terry Skiverton enough to earn a new deal.

In terms of injuries Yeovil only have a few question marks, with Andy Williams still struggling with his ankle ligament injury. The other injury doubt is Adam Virgo, who may not have recovered from his groin strain in time to face Colchester this afternoon. Paul Huntington completes the last of his two game suspension, whilst Luke Ayling is welcomed back from suspension.

Colchester have a number of key players missing with top scorer Keith Gillespie out for the remainder of the season along with Magnus Okuonghae, Pat Baldwin and Simon Hackney who all miss out this afternoon.

If you are not travelling to Huish Park this afternoon you can listen to the game on BBC Radio Somerset 99.5FM with a match report following later on Glover Lover.
