What a goal from Milijas

Wolves aim for three wins in seven days

Good afternoon All

Yes - only three days after a thrilling 4 - 1 victory over Leeds united Wolves face their next test at home to Bolton Wanderers, who are currently struggling at the bottom of the Championship.

Three ex-Wolves players are likely to make a return visit to Molineux, Mark Little, Adam Le Fondre and Wolves Premier League days captain Karl Henry are all playing for Bolton these days.

The highlight of Wolves first game against Bolton in the Premier League season 2008 - 9 was a superb left foot volley from midfielder Nenad Milijas which led to a 2 - 1 win and three points. Wolves will be hoping for a repeat this afternoon against a team struggling to re-establish themselves in the Championship.

Starting line-up is the same as Wednesday's:

Ruddy. Doherty, Coady, Bennett, Boly, Douglas, Neves, Saiss, Cavaleiro, Bonatini, Jota

Subs: Norris, Vinagre, Batth, Jack Price, N'Diaye, Enobakhare Hélder Costa,

So we're underway. Mark little and Karl Henry are in the Bolton team, Le Fondre on the bench.

Coady lost possession uncharacteristically in his own box, but Ruddy came to the rescue

Gary Madine of Bolton has to go off for treatment (and a change of shirt!) after sustaining a cut to his head going up for a header.

Madine back on, but then Romain Sauss is hurt in a challenge and has to go off for treatment.

The commentary on wolves TV isn't very clear this afternoon, and frequently dropping out, but I will try and keep up with it.

Commentary has just gone off but I see Willy Boly has put us in the lead with a header from close range.

Wolves 1 Bolton 0

Douglas puts in another quality cross, Boly and Jota go close but Bolton survive

Is that the first Willy has scored?
At this rate Ruddy will get one

Sounds like we're continuing where we left of on Tuesday, is it greedy to expect another 4?

Chicago I thought Willy Boly had scored for us before, but I can't find the evidence to back it up.... yet!!

Cavaleiro broke and took a good shot

Jota breaks and passes to Bonatini who has the simplest task to put Wolves 2 - 0 ahead

Jota taken out by Mark Little in a tough tackle & needs some treatment, but seems OK

Wolves playing some great football at times, flowing in attack

Just found it Chicago - Willy Boly scored with a header in our
2 - 0 away win at Norwich

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake scores on his debut for Telford

David Wheater was losing his rag with Jota, waited his time, just taken him out and has got a yellow card. Nuno furious and getting into argument with Phil Parkinson, Ref has sent both Managers to the stand.

Referee - Keith Stroud - now trying to exert his presence in the game. He's always been the same, little man with a whistle!!
Fans letting him know he doesn't know what he's doing. Sending of managers to the stand considered totally unnecessary - they could simply have been told to sort themselves out!

Ameobi pushes Douglas over and also gets a yellow card.

Half time whistke blown

A somewhat tetchy first half, with some v=dubious 'tackles' going in, probably due to Bolton struggling to cope with the footnall played by our attack.

Both Managers in furious argument after Wheater took revenge on Jota, and were both sent to the stand as an apparent automatic choice by the referee. Goals from Willy Boly and Leo Bonatini have put Wolves in charge

Wolves 2 Bolton 0

Chicago I've forgotten to make my forecast again - too busy doing this carry-on. I'm just making it too easy for you!!!

Very quiet BW, heard very little of him. Some muted views amongst the crowd when he has touched the ball which is a bit of a shame.

Second half has kicked off, no changes to either side.

Chance for Leo, gets it on to his left foot. Last ditch save by defender conceding a corner which comes to nothing

Ameobi off for Bolton, replaced by Craig Noonan who scored a wonder goal for Cardiff at Molineux in 2015.

Neves has just received a yellow card which may put him out of the Birmingham game as he has accrued 5

That's it folks Final whistle blown.

Goals from Willy Boly, Leo Bonatini, Cavaleiro (2) and Jota, plus an own goal from Ryan Bennett give Wolves a % - 1 win and another three points to keep us top of the League.

A tetchy game at times, largely because Bolton couldn't cope with our skilled players, particularly in attack.

The downside - Nuno & Phil Parkinson sent to the stands, and Ruben Neves getting a Yello card which may keep him out of thew Brum game.

That's it now until our televised game against Birmingham on Mon 4th December

Like a whipped puppy we have learned not to dream; only the young and the naive believe we have arrived again.
But Nuno and fosun are starting to make us young again.
This love affair surely cannot go wrong.
Can it?
