Hammers and Forest in Christmas panto

Happy Ending
By Neville Nixon
December 27 2004
A relative goal feast was dished up at the Boleyn, Oh no it wasn;t , Oh yes it was. You get the drift don't you? As the ball ricocheted in off Matty Etherington's rear end one could be forgiven for looking for the horses head!

Hammers took on a Forest team inspired by Mick Harford's management, add Adam Nowland wanting to prove a point, and you had a fair case for a bit of post christmas stomach upset. Well we weren't disappointed! Hammers Goals Etherington Goal {17 mins } Sheringham Goal {39 mins }Sheringham Goal {82 mins} Forest Goals David Johnson {65 mins}and{68 mins}

Talk about stress, in keeping with most Hammers teams past and present, our dearly beloved continued in the same vein, that is, to boss a game, play beautiful football, then throw it all away! unless,they happen to have one Edward Sheringham! the old boy produced yet another classic performance to drag this fragile assembly of claret and sky blue kit wearers ( excluding Tomy Repka ) out of the mire. We must also acknowledge 'Matty' for finally managing to score!Christmas cheer at the Boleyn? You betcha! Merry bloody Christmas at last! As it is the yuletide, we have two man of the match awards: Teddy 'viagra' Sheringham AND Tomy' don't argue with me about a garden fence AK 47 'Repka! OURS AND YOURS HAMMER OF THE YEAR SO FAR. Happy Christmas Tomy and Teddy , used to being second best? NO, Class and commitment YES!
