IT'S ASTON VILLA AWAY FIRST UP FOR HAMMERS

The seasons Premier League fixtures were published today and it’s an opening fixture at Villa Park on14th August for West Ham.

This will mark the return of Hammers new midfield star Thomas Hitzlsperger to his old stomping ground were he made 99 league appearances for the Villa between 2000 – 2005.

Bolton are the first visitors to Upton Park a week later on Saturday 21st. On Wednesday 25th it’s the Carling Cup 2nd round and the Premier League continues on the 28th with a trip to Old Trafford.

Games of note in September are the visit of Chelsea on the 11th and Harrys Spurs on the 25th.

The Christmas period has the Hammers making the short trip west to meet Fulham on boxing day and a home tie versus Wolves on new years day.  Arsenal also come to Upton Park on January 15th.

Avrams boys conclude the 2010/11 season with matches against Chelsea (a) 23/4,  Man City (a) 30/4,  Blackburn Rovers (h) 7/5,  Wigan (a) 14/5,  and Sunderland (h) 22/5.
