West Brom to renew interest in Cameroon international
By Jemma Tappenden
May 28 2011
West Bromwich Albion could renew their interest in Cameroon international Pierre Webo, after the Real Mallorca striker warned that he could be leaving the club after issuing them with a contract ultimatum.  The Baggies have been tracking the 29 year old since he impressed during a pre season friendly game at the Hawthorns three years ago.

Albion boss Roy Hodgson is known to be seeking further attacking options this summer, and the Midlands club are one of three Premiership clubs believed to be contacted by Webo's agent Eugenio Botas about his possible exit from Real Mallorca.

The striker is also being looked at by Newcastle United and Sunderland, with his work rate and 11 goals in 34 appearances also making him a favourite in Mallorca.

The Baggies are believed to have had a bid for Watford striker Danny Graham rejected, and have also been linked with Fulham's Andrew Johnson.
