The votes have been counted and we can now confirm that you have voted Gary Taylor-Fletcher as your Tranmere the Man of the Match for last Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to Welling United.....
After two days of voting we can confirm that Gary Taylor-Fletcher was the player you decided was your Man of the Match for Saturday afternoon's unfortunate home defeat to Welling United.
For the first hour of the game, Rovers played some decent football but after taking the lead through a brilliant Lee Vaughan volley, set up by Taylor-Fletcher, Rovers gave up an equaliser less than two minutes later through a fortunate deflected goal which wrong footed Scott Davies. In the second half as Rovers performance dipped, the visitors were gifted a winner to take points with a 2-1 win.
As you can see from the poll results below, Taylor-Fletcher's victory in this week's poll was a fairly comfortable one as he polled 38% of the vote (10 votes) to take the honours. It was goalscorer Lee Vaughan who took second place this week with 19% of the vote (5 votes) with the impressive MIchael Ihiekwe in third place with 12% of the vote (3 votes).
Only Matt Hill, Jay Harris, Jeff Hughesand James Norwood failed to poll any votes from the starting 11 whilst two of the three substitutes in the game (Jack Mackreth and Scott Fenwick) also polled votes.
Thanks to everyone who voted in the Man of the Match poll for the Welling Unitedgame. The Man of the Match poll for Saturday's match away at Torquay United will be available on Saturday evening after the game so stay tuned to Total Tranmere.
