After Tranmere deservedly beat Colchester United for a vital three points on the road, we are giving you the opportunity to vote for your Tranmere Man of the Match from the game.......
After Rovers earned a deserved win away at Colchester United and what could be a priceless three points in the relegation fight, we are asking you once again to vote for your Tranmere Man of the Match from the game.
After Owain Fon Williams kept Rovers in the game in the opening twenty minutes with three superb saves, Rovers took the League through Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro before the hosts equalised just before half-time after some lazy defending from Rovers.
Rovers then dominated the second half of the game almost throughout and got their deserved winner around the hour mark as Ryan Lowe notched his 20th goal of the season thanks to good work from Akpa Akpro. Although Tranmere had a tense final few minutes they deserved the 2-1 win and the vitally important three points that came with it.
Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro was outstanding for Rovers at Colchester on Saturday afternoon
