Last week saw most Rovers fans remember the eleventh anniversary of St Yates Day, the day on which Rovers travelled across the River Mersey in the FA Cup fourth round in 2001 and beat their Premier League neighbours 3-0 in their own back yard thanks to two goals from Steve Yates and and one from Jason Koumas.
As well as the anniversary of that famous match, the past seven days also saw the twelfth anniversary of Rovers 3-0 home win over Bolton Wanderers in the second leg of the League Cup semi-final (4-0 on aggregate) which sent the Superwhite Army to Wembley for their first ever major final.
To celebrate both anniversaries and to cheer us Rovers fans up during our current blip in form on the pitch, the Totally Tranmere podcast team of Paul Harper and Matthew Jones have put together a special edition covering a look back at these two memorable matches as well as a quick look back at Rovers recent 2-1 defeat at Bournemouth and this podcast is now available to download.
