After Tranmere were unlucky not to win at home to automatic promotion chasing Hudderfield Town, instead earning a 1-1 draw, Rovers Manager Les Parry was pleased with his side's performance but was less impressed with the number of missed opportunities by his side in both halves....
Speaking to Tranmere Player after the game, Parry said.....
"I've gone off my head a little bit in the dressing room. If defenders make mistakes we slaughter them, strikers have got to be the same. When you get the chances we had you've got to take one of them, at least one."
"What was pleasing was the way we stopped them passing. The lads worked their socks off, there's a lot of tired legs in there. A lot of players ran a lot of miles today."

"James Wallace was brave, he was winning the ball and he was going in for big headers. I think everyone stopped for the Huddersfield goal because they thought it was going out of play, but you can't do that. We knew we couldn't switch off for half a second. What we said would happen happened."
"We've been trying to encourage Adam to stay out wide for a bit longer because he was going in too early, balls were going long and nobody was there. He listened, he got there later and he ran on to a quality ball coming in."
"Ryan did well, he held the ball up and looked strong. I was pleased with what we saw of him. The lads have been the better side against an excellent side. We didn't let them play."
