Manager Les Parry today spoke to www.tranmererovers.co.uk giving his thoughts ahead of this Saturday's Coca Cola League One game against Bristol Rovers.
Following the 1-4 defeat to Leeds United, Les told Tranmere Player:
"I think when we show the lads the DVD of the game and they realise that Luke Daniels didn't make a save of note - he threw his hat on two and that was about it. From my own point of view, having watched the game twice since, we played better than I thought we did."
"We'd have taken two points from the two games against Southampton and Leeds, and we're one point better than that. Had the fixtures been reversed and we'd won 2-1 against Southampton on Tuesday we'd be all singing and dancing now."
"Any team in our division is beatable. Bristol Rovers are just outside the Play Offs and are on the back of some good form. But we'll go there full of confidence believing we can get something from the game."

Speaking about Saturdays selection headache, Les commented
"Luke is only a young player and he had one of those nights on Tuesday when things weren't going for him and it's hard for young players to deal with that. We had to bring Shay on to try to steady the ship."
"We've got quite a few selection decisions to make. We've got Ash available again, we've got Chris McCready doing well in the reserves and we've got Bas Savage who has rested for a couple of days, so he should be champing at the bit. So I've got a lot of thinking to do between now and Saturday afternoon."
