Tranmere Rovers are joining forces with the Royal British Legion to help raise funds for the 2009 Poppy Appeal by putting on a special offer in the build up to Remembrance Day at the home game against Brighton and Hove Albion this Saturday, the 17th October with the game kicking off at 3pm at Prenton Park.
As part of the partnership, admission for servicemen and women and ex-servicemen has been massively reduced to just £5 (tickets must be purchased in advance). Admission for Seniors has also been cut to £5 and is cash on the turnstiles for all stands except the Main Stand.

Current servicemen and women should present their ID cards at the Club Shop or Ticket Office to claim their discounted ticket. Ex-servicemen and women should present their discharge papers for their discounted ticket.
Chief Executive Mick Horton said the Club was pleased to once again be working with the Royal British Legion.......
"The Royal British Legion is the leading charity safeguarding the welfare, interests and memory of those who have served their country and I would urge Tranmere fans to be generous in their support of the Poppy Appeal.
"We teamed up with the Royal British Legion in the last two seasons and were delighted with the response. We are more than happy to work with them again.
"We recognise the efforts of current and former servicemen and women and are pleased to be able to offer them reduced admission to the Brighton game and hope to welcome them back to Prenton Park in the future."

Midweek Match Nights: 9.30am to Kick-Off
