By Deadly Submarine July 8 2009 Tranmere’s home game against Stockport County in Coca-Cola League One in October will be watched by football fans around the country after Sky Sports decided to screen the game live on a Monday evening.
In a welcome financial boost to the Club, it has been confirmed today that Rovers’ home Coca-Cola League One game against StockportCounty in October will be screened live on Sky Sports.
The game, which was originally scheduled for Saturday 9th October at Prenton Park will now take place on the following Monday evening the 12th October with a kick-off time of either 7.45pm or 8.00pm (to be confirmed at a later date).
The money that the screening of this game will bring to the Club will be a welcome boost and will further increase the public profile of the Club which has already risen since the appointment of John Barnes as Manager.
Any further changes to the current fixture list will be reported right here as we get news of alterations.
