Tranmere fans were dealt another blow tonight on the first day of pre-season training for the first team as midfielder Steven Jennings was confirmed as a Motherwell player for next season subject to clearance issues.
Motherwell appointed former Stockport County Manager Jim Gannon as their new Manager earlier in the week and Jenno becomes his first new signing after playing the whole of last season at Tranmere on a week-to-week contract.

Jennings is Now a Motherwell Player
The move comes as more of a blow as it came just 24 hours after John Barnes confirmed that Rovers were hopeful that Jennings would remain at the Club and that negotiations were a long way down the road.
As well as playing Scottish Premier League football at Motherwell, Jennings may also take part in the Europa League (formerly the UEFA Cup is Motherwell progress through the first round for which Jenno is ineligible).
Some fans will argue that Jenno is an even bigger loss than Antony Kay from the Rovers midfield and his departure leaves a huge hole to filled.
Total Tranmere would like to thank Jenno for his time at Tranmere and wish him all the best in Scotland.
