Wednesday striker Deon Burton was on target as a second half substitute in Jamaica's 5-1 thumping against St Vincent and the Grenadines in an international friendly last night. Burton had been included in the Jamaica squad. Deon is in fine form at the moment. Jermaine Johnson was also included in the squad for the up-coming clashes, and Burton made an impression by bagging the fourth in a comfortable win.

Wigan Athletic hitman Marlon King was also on target witha brace, while Demar Phillips and Ricardo Gardener also found the back of the net in the five-star display.

Wednesday wing wizard Johnson was also part of the squad on Tuesday night, but was only an unused substitute in the victory.

But both will be on the plane, and hoping to feature further, for two more friendly matches against Trinidad and Grenada.

Jamaica: Donovan Ricketts, Ian Goodison, Adrian Reid (Jermaine Taylor 69th), Simon Ford (Keneil Moodie 76th), Evon Taylor (Richard Langley 82nd), Ricardo Gardner, Andy Williams, Demar Phillips, Rudolph Austin (Jamal Campbell-Ryce 65th), Ricardo Fuller (Luton Shelton 70th), Marlon King (Deon Burton 72nd). Subs not used: Shawn Sawyers, Obrian Woodbine, Jermaine Johnson, Omar Daley.
