Club Connections

The legend which is Keith Knox. Local postie Knoxie enjoyed two spells at Stair Park and in his second spell he captained the club to it's second championship before being booted out controversially a few years later by previous manager Billy McLaren who said he was past it. Knoxie went onto get promotion with Alloa into the first division before being released to join his present club Gretna.

Jason Young was top goalscorer for Livi in their second division days before joining the Blues for a short stint a few years ago. Was famous to Stranraer fans for scoring a long range rocket at easter road when Stranraer defeated Hibs 2-1 in the first division.

If you know of any other connections, please feel free to e-mail me (sandy@stranraerfc.net) with any submissions.
