From
North:
Head
south, on the M77/A77, following signs for Ayr.
Keep travelling south, by-passing Ayr, until you reach the "Whitletts"
roundabout. Follow the signs
for Stranraer.
As you approach Stranraer (passing Girvan and Cairnryan on the way)
get ready...
Take the first
exit on the left into Stranraer
(McMasters Road).
You will pass Stranraer Academy on your right.
Turn right onto London Road. Continue
on this road until you pass Stranraer Academy and Rephad Primary School
on your right.
100 yards farther on you will see Stair
Park on your left.
Turn left
into Stair Park.
Parking is free at Stair Park.
From East:
Head west on the A75 towards
Stranraer (from Dumfries)
After you see the sign "Welcome to Stranraer" the A75 now
becomes London Road.
You will pass two schools on
your right (Stranraer Academy and Rephad Primary). 100 yards farther
on you will see Stair Park on your left.
Turn left
into Stair Park.
Parking is free at Stair Park.

| Trains |
There are two trains from Glasgow
Central station on Saturday that will get you to the game on time.
The 8:28 train gets in at 11:11, while the 11:42 arrives at 13:56.
You will see Stair Park when you enter the town on your right.
The return trains leave Stranraer
at 19:40 and 21:10, and get into Glasgow Central at 21:55 and 23:28
repectively.
Stair Park is 15-20
minutes walk from the station.

| Buses |
Stranraer
is poorly served by buses, especially on match days. Consult the major
company timetimes to see if a service is available. |
|
| Boat |
Stranraer
is only 90 minutes away from Belfast by Stena Lines HSS ferry service.
Take the 07:40 or 12:20 sailing from Belfast (arrives at 14:30) and
it only costs £30 return. Return on the 19:35 sailing. I beleive that
a special rate is given to Stranraer FC fans because Stena Line are
the club sponsors. Ask for details. |
