A 'Beck Player' to leave?
By Dan Smith July 15 2002
Local paper the Cambridge Evening News has reported that one of the 'Beck Players' could leave the club very soon. Who could it be?
In tonights Cambridge Evening News it has been reported a 'Beck Player' is on his way out. This could mean any one of Terry Fleming, Richard Prokas, Phil Warner or Colin Alcide will be leaving the club shortly.

It isn't likely to be Terry Fleming as he worked his way back into the managers plans towards the end of last season, and has been assigned the number 8 shirt for this season.

From the remainging three it is most likely to be Phil Warner that leaves the club. He is the youngest and compared to Colin Alcide and Richard Prokas, he is a much more promising target for other clubs.

Hopefully the club will get some sort of fee for whoever leaves, and they will also free up some spare cash due to less being spent on wages. Hopefully this will mean one, maybe two of the trialists being snapped up if they're good enough.
