Two Clubs Sell Ground
By Paul Holland
August 10 2002

Watford have sold their Vicarage Road home to a unnamed firm for £6,000,000 and will pay rent each season until they can afford to buy it back.

Coventry City have also sold their Highfield Road ground and are believed to be paying £400,000 rent per season. They have also put plans for their new state of the art stadium on hold.
