What is the ground like?
The ground itself is like a scrap yard the more biased Rotherham fans may want to see it as ‘ a traditional football ground ‘ to the realists out there and away fans it would not look out of place if it was in the middle of a scrap heap.  Quite fitting really then that the Chairman made his fortune out of scrap metal.   The toilets are sub standard and the urinals leak so if you come out wondering why your shoes got wet the toilets are the answer.  Apparently it was refurbished before coming into division 1 but buying some port cabins from Bradford and giving it a new coat of paint does not class as a refurbishment in any football teams case.
What is it like for away fans?
For away fans the toilets are slightly better than the home fans end, the pies are widely renowned as the best in the country, if you don’t believe it just ask Kevin pressman he spends more time there than at Hillsborough “allegedly” but apart from the good food that is a dump too the space between rows is small so unless you are the smallest of people or on the front row it is cramped as I found out when I was in the away end up when we drew with Bristol City a couple of seasons ago.
Where is their for away fans to drink?
The best two pubs for away fans to drink would be the Millmoor and the Tivoli as they are right next to the ground and friendly with occurrences of trouble in them very rare.   Also a lot of home fans in so there is plenty of opportunity for banter with Rotherham supporters.
How to get their and where to park?
Leave the M1 at Junction 34 and take the A6109 towards Rotherham. At the large roundabout which is the junction with the A629 turn right. At the next roundabout you come to turn right and you will see the ground on your left. You can see the floodlights of the ground for some distance. Either street parking or there is a car park behind the Main Stand which costs £2.
Where is the nearest train station?
About a 5 minute walk from the ground Rotherham Central is conveniently located.  Just exit the train station turn left walk straight on till 1st turn off on the left walk down here to the end under the subway then you will see the floodlights and just follow the Rotherham fans towards the ground.
