What is the ground like?
Blundell Park is a small ground in compression to other grounds in Division 1, it had three small stands and one that covered half of the pitch, but was two tiered high.

As well as these four stands their where two small prop up stands that had green seats, this was incase of a sell out and I don't think they have been used much.

What is it like for away fans?
I found that the atmosphere was very poor from the home fans, but The Blades fans made up for it. I thought that the view I had was not brilliant, but I was only four rows high from the bottom.

Although The Blades won (thanks to a Peter Ndlovu header) I think I would have enjoyed my visit the Grimsby Town Football Club if we had have lost.

Where is their for away fans to drink?
Dave Peasgood has informed me that the unofficial away fans pub is the Leaking Boot (formerly Darley's hotel) which is halfway between Cleethorpes and Blundell Park on the north side of Grimsby Road. To get there head down the A180 and drive past the ground. It's about 400 yards further up the road on the left. It is a large pub with a large car park and allows in children. The Fish & Chips in Cleethorpes are legendary and there are some good outlets located near to the ground. Hobsons fish and chip shop near to the Leaking Boot comes recommended. Other recommendations by Dave include the Blundell Park Hotel, which if you arrive early serves some good food at reasonable prices (expect to pay around £5 for a good portion of fish and chips). The Rutland Arms is also recommended for both home and away fans to mingle, however this a little way from the ground and doesn't allow in children. (it is about about half a mile before Blundell park, turn left at Ramsdens superstore and left again, and you'll see the pub at the opposite end of their car park. If in coaches, then from where you will be parked, head back the way you came, along the sea wall for 5 minutes and you'll see the pub). The Imperial pub by the ground is not recommended for away fans. There is also a McDonalds situated right by Blundell Park.
How to get their and where to park?
First thing to remember is that the ground is not actually in Grimsby, it is the edge of the neighboring town of Cleethorpes. The ground is on the A180 which runs between Grimsby & Cleethorpes. Cleethorpes is well signposted from Grimsby town centre.

There is no car park at the ground, therefore only street parking. As you drive along the A180 towards the ground, the home end appears first, then after the McDonalds is the away end. From there, continue towards Cleethorpes and try any of the side streets to the left or preferably the right and you should find a parking spot okay.
Where is the nearest train station?
The nearest train station is Cleethorpes and is less than half a mile to the ground.
