Sheepy On Deano Rumours

Ipswich Town chairman David Sheepshanks has dismissed reports of Dean Bowditch possibly moving to Liverpool as “poppy cock”.

Mr Sheepshanks has said that: “I read reports that Dean was going to Liverpool and it's complete poppycock.

“It infuriates me to read some of this reporting. We all understand speculation sells newspapers, it's the way of the world but actually some of it has been dangerously close to inciting the fans to feel that decisions are being made against the best interests of the team. It's total rubbish.

“I know we have had the nightmare of relegation and everything that has gone with it but actually we are trying very hard to put things right and so far, so good.”.
