Ipswich Town reserve goal keeper Lewis Price has committed his immediate future to Ipswich Town by signing his new contract.

Price was one of nine players whose contracts expire in June is the first to sign his new contract signing a two year deal, Richard Naylor, Jim Magilton, Fabian Wilnis, Chris Makin, John McGreal and Jermaine Wright have all been offered new contracts but are yet to sign.

Lewis has said that: “I spoke to the manager on Monday and didn’t really need any time to think over the deal,

“I was happy with the terms and just asked the Club to get the paperwork sorted out as soon as possible and I’m delighted to have signed today.

“I am really enjoying my time at Ipswich and feel I am learning all the time working alongside Kelvin Davis and coach Malcolm Webster.”.

Lewis has so far only played once for the first team but has been regular in the reserves.
