Released Duo Given Trial Chances
By Aston

Released Town pair Dean Bowditch and Daniel Harding have both been taking on trial by clubs as they look to continue their professional careers.
Bowditch, 23, has been given a chance by League Two side Notts County, who did try to sign him on-loan last season but never managed it.

Notts County boss, Ian McParland: "We monitored Dean last season but for one reason or another we didn't manage to bring him here.

"He is looking to get himself settled and get his career up and running again and we're only too pleased to offer him the chance here.

"Dean has a lot of good attributes and perhaps in recent years he hasn't fulfilled his potential he had as a youngster.

"We'll have a good look at him and see where it takes us, but the ball is firmly in his court."

Harding has been taken on by League One side Yeovil, it had been expected that he'd join Reading after ending last season on-loan at the Madejski stadium but with Steve Coppell leaving Reading at the end of the season that currently seems unlikely.

Thought they'd have been snapped up!

Am surprised Harding has only managed to attract League 1 interest considering how he finished last season.
