Duo Making Progress
By Aston
June 16 2009
Town duo Jordan Rhodes and Jon Walters are expected to be able to join the rest of the first team squad when they return for first team training next month.
The pair missed the end of last season with injuries, but they are currently on course to return to training when the rest of the first team squad does.

Town physio Matt Byard: "Jon has seen a specialist and had a scan and he's progressing well, he is back doing some running and will be stepping up his recovery with some multi-directional work and then some ball work.

"As things stand he should be back for the start of pre-season training and it's the same with Jordan. He's had an x-ray and is doing well.

"He's running and will increase his workload over the next week or so with some football drills and should be back in training for the start of July."

Re: Duo Making Progress
With no new players on the horizon and only 2 weeks to go before pre-season starts - this has to be great news - as we'll need them both banging in goals again asap.

With 7 subs on the bench now, the future looks good for Rhodes so maybe no need to loan him out anymore.
