Bruce: No Offer… Yet

Town defender Alex Bruce has confirmed he has yet to be offered a new contract by Town and could be on his way in January.
Bruce scored Town's goal in the 2-1 defeat against Birmingham last night, which he was pleased about but he would rather have got the three points for Town.

Bruce: "I have not been offered a contract to stay. All I can do is play my football and do the best I can.

"It is not my decision if I stay in January or next summer - it is down the club."

"I was delighted to score but unfortunately I would have preferred the three points much more.

"We didn't get out of the blocks for the first 20 minutes and they showed what a good side they are. They took the foot off the pedal a little and we got in the game but it wasn't enough."
