Jim: We Did Well
By Aston
November 22 2008
Town manager Jim Magilton feels each of his players did well during Town's 2-0 win against Derby County earlier today.
A goal each from Pablo Counago and Jon Walters secured the 2-0 win for Town, but Jim says every one played their part today.

Jim: "We played well throughout. We started brightly and had a real enthusiasm to our game. We had all the good things that we lacked last week and paid the price.

"We got back on track and I'm extremely pleased with that and that both strikers scored.

"Pablo is always calm in those situations and Jon's work ethic alone deserved a goal.

"I'm also pleased also that we kept a clean sheet.

"Jon (Walters) has adaptability and play wide or through the middle and move quickly.

"He has a marvellous attitude and is very clever.

"He's difficult to stop and people try and work him out but it is difficult.

"But overall our play was very good and everyone did well.

"Darren Ambrose played well on his second return, while David Wright has been very consistent and a solid pro.

"Ben Thatcher put in a very solid performance. The whole back four was comfortable, as was the keeper, so it was good to keep a clean sheet and hopefully that will help build confidence."
