Town manager Jim Magilton: "We are a lot better than what we saw at Doncaster last week and it made it even more frustrating that the game was live on TV and went around the nation, the trick for us is to get back to the level of performance we showed in the four or five games before the Doncaster match and get another run going.
"The players want to put on a display for the fans because they are as upset as I was with how we performed last week.
"We certainly have to be better than that against Derby this week. They are on the rise now and it's a massive game.
"It's never easy to adjust immediately to life in this division after coming down from the Premier League, and it took them four or five games to find their feet, but they have a good manager, good players and come to us on a decent run of form.
"They are just off the pack at the moment, four points outside the Play-Offs alongside us, and I would expect them to be challengers for the top six this season.
"I think the fans can have a part to play for us. If they get right behind the team from the start, as they did against QPR, then that can give the players a lift but ultimately it's down to the players to go out and show that last week was a blip and right a few wrongs."
The Rams will be without defenders Martin Albrechtsen and Dean Leacock but will have Darren Powell after he signed a short term contract at Pride Park.
