Trotter Learning New Role
By Aston September 8 2008
Town midfielder Liam Trotter says he is learning from the experience of Ben Thatcher behind him in his new role as a left sided midfielder.
Trotter hadn't played on the left until doing so for the first team earlier this season and although not 100% confident in the role he is learning it with the help of Ben Thatcher.

Trotter: "I'm happy enough to play there although it is difficult because I have not played out there before getting to the first team.

"Anyone watching can see I'm not comfortable because I 'm not really 100 confident or really sure what I'm doing yet but I'm learning.

"The more I play out there then the better I will get.

"It is good to have Ben behind me because he is always talking to me. He is very experienced and with me out of position it is good to have someone tell me where to be throughout the game.

"He is class act and I'm looking forward to him playing more."
