No Bottomless Pit
By Aston September 5 2008
Town chief executive Derek Bowden says Town do have a bottomless pit of money to spend on players and it will remain the right player at the right price.
Town manager Jim Magilton was reportedly given £12 million to spend on new signings when Marcus Evans accquired Town at the end of last year and while there may still be some of that money left it is not a bottomless pit of money.

Bowden: "Jim has the tools he needs to do his job, we are not awash with money and it will be a case of the right player at the right time for the right price.

"If the manager wants to strengthen more then his request will, of course, be considered.

"There are one or two possible loan targets that could turn into emergency loan signings next week.

"But it takes two to tango and we have to get the agreement of the 'selling' club.

"If it happens, fine, if it doesn't then it will not be a tragedy."

Re: No Bottomless Pit
We are still a business big duck and currently Jim has failed enough to be deemed a failure. Sacking him now would be pointless
