Town manager Jim Magilton: "They have goals all over the park to be honest and I'm certainly expecting them to be in the mix for promotion come the end of the season.
"They were excellent for the first 30 minutes at our place last season. They had a penalty saved and that turned the game and for the hour after that, we were outstanding.
"We will have to be at our best again because they are a good side. I have nothing but respect for what Mick has achieved in management. He has improved clubs wherever he has gone and is a top class manager.
"So we know it will be a real test for us and we need to look at defending the way we did at Burnley last week and use that as a platform to build on."
Wolves will be missing Jody Craddock who has a foot injury, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake also has a foot problem but could be fit enough to start up front alongside former Col U striker Chris Iwelumo.
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy: "Ipswich won 10 successive games at home at the start of last season and then they lost the first home game this time which tells you about the competition in this league, last season we played 4-4-2 and should have murdered them.
"Freddy missed a penalty, we were all over them and Stephen Ward took a quick throw, Jay Bothroyd lost it and Alan Lee scored - not that I remember it!
"Normally I wouldn't blame anyone for doing it but away from home on 43 minutes, it was a travesty to go in at 1-0 down.
"We lost 3-0 by chasing the game but I won't be changing my philosophy - we play 4-4-2 because that suits us better.
"I go there absolutely convinced that we do carry more of a goal threat."
