Kevin Claiming Goal
By Aston August 18 2008
Town striker Kevin Lisbie is claiming the 2nd goal at Burnley on Saturday as his despite some sources marking it as an own goal.
Lisbie is adamant he scored his 2nd goal of his Town career on Saturday but some sources have marked the goal as an own goal scored by Burnley's Graham Alexander, but Lisbie says it is his goal.

Lisbie: "It is my goal, well, I'm claiming it anyway.

"I headed it down and as it has come back to me I have gone to shoot and he (Alexander) has kicked my foot at the same time and it has gone in.

"I'm not on a goals bonus, I just want to score goals."

Town secretary Sally Webb said the club agree with Kevin, adding: "The referee's report has not been received by the Football League yet but unless we are told differently, it's Kevin's goal."
