Sadie (Shady Blue Lady) gives Singing The Blues her own unique look at Town’s game against Colchester on Friday.

With a smile on my face as the Canaries are losing 0-2 I finally sit down to write Ipswich Towns match report.

For the first time in 49 years Colchester and Town meet in the league with an attendance of 6215 and live on sky, I have a bad feeling about this so I do not share my match prediction.

Once again Town have a different line up with a couple of changes from the team that faced and beat Sunderland the week before.

Price, Sito, De Vos, Naylor, Harding, Noble, Walton, Legwinski, Currie, Lee and Macken were the 11 that ran out in black with Supple, Bruce, Richards, Bowditch and Clarke on the bench.

Noble Joins the action early on with a free kick and in Towns own box he turns defensive and clears the ball.

In the 3rd minute Harding is being slow and soon after ball no.1 leaves the ground into the streets. Town are having trouble defending the very much attacking start from Colchester and a home goal looks inevitable.

Sure enough that goal comes in the 8th minute when the Town defence sit in lala land, Price blocks the first shot but it is rebounded and hit back in by Duguid this time beating Price and crossing the line, 1-0 to Colchester.

Town do not respond to this and continue playing in a style that would even see them out run but a bottom of the table Sunday league team.

On 11 minutes Colchester win a free kick but it did not trouble an unusually young looking Lewis Price.

For some reason the observation made in the 15th minute was that Sito has a large forehead, oh how it glistened in the sweat, how appealing.

In the 22nd minute Lee chases the ball down the pitch (Pause writing to dance as Doherty is sent off for Canaries! WOO HOO) and a grumpy Colchester player collides with sexy Walton I mean Simon Walton.

On 24 minutes the Colchester No. 2 can no longer hide his secret, He's pregnant! Lame I know, but there was nothing else happening.

27 minutes gone, the game is crap so we have a discussion on the world’s greatest website.

On the 29th minute it's again Colchester's ball but a great shot goes wide.

Naylor has a bug in his bum in the 31st minute, if he put as much effort into defending as he does shouting his mouth off we might actually keep a clean sheet.

In the 34th minute I decide until Town start doing their jobs and playing football I will continue making stupid comments.

Either a Town player who looks like a baby mole (Alan Lee) or not so hard man Harding nearly score in the 39th minute, it doesn't really matter anyway, it comes to nothing.

41 minutes, the second ball makes its exit, I don't blame it, I wouldn't want to stick around that rubbish either.

44 minutes Simon Walton is still sexy.

In stoppage time of the first half Currie runs!! And ball no.3 escapes from the ground.

Hopefully the second half would show improvement, and it did, in the 48th minute Macken finally scores for Town but the referee disallows the goal for what he thought was a foul on the goalkeeper, but it wasn't, oh no, it was a perfectly good goal.

Lee shakes his head in the 58th minute he obviously caught sight of how stupidly bad he was playing.

Town keeper Price does something great at some point, I don't know, I wasn't watching.

61 minutes Clarke gets dressed nothing special but he's young, he has time. 2 minutes later he replaces Macken.

In the 70th minute spectators in my flat have a chat about selling funky junk on EBay, including my autograph and Clarke has a shot saved.

The 72nd saw the game turn into a pinball until some united party pooper kicks the ball out for a corner, which of course Currie took, and of course was as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Onto the 84th minute Supple sits tight and scared behind Jim Magilton on the bench, can you blame him, like I said- he was behind Jim.

In the 85th minute Bowditch makes his usual 5 minute appearance as Walton is replaced.

Yes, we lost 1-0 but No***ch just lost 1-4 at home on sky and Nigel 'Worthless' Worthington has just been sacked.
