    His league debut was against Leeds on the 24th September 2005 under Joe Royle. Haynes has become a crowd favorite with his late match winner against Norwich in the 05/06 season.

    Haynes scored 4 goals in his first season. He got his chance in the 1st team as Town had many injuries upfront.
