The Chronicle has reported that fans will have a tough time attending games and returning back to Newcastle, especially after the Ipswich match, all to accommodate the cameras. There are no trains scheduled to run from London to Newcastle after 8.30pm on the 26th September meaning fans will have to find alternative transport or remain in the area overnight before finding their way home on the Sunday.

Michael Ord of the Newcastle United Supporters Club Committee told The Chronicle;

"It's another example of how the spectator is last to be considered. We are now used to seeing half-empty grounds, and this is one of the reasons.

Ipswich is a very difficult place to get to and from.  There's an assumption the atmosphere generates itself. The crowd are taken for granted."

Newcastle United fan Malcolm Shiels said;

"I don't think it's something that's going to change until supporters are listened to.

I think people in football, particularly in the media, are in for a bit of a shock because people are falling out of love with football for other reasons, and if they compound it with fixture changes like this, it can't help."

5 times in a month makes you still feel like a big club to your deluded fans, on TV more times in the championship than the prem.

Ha, the backward lad is back. Obviously we will be on the tv more times in the championship as thats the league we are in.

Makes you mad doesnt it that people talk about Newcastle far more than yourselves and you have just been promoted. Come on big mick.

Your not even a medium sized club, dont worry about it though.

That is the reason you get kn@bs on this website, they are jealous of us. We may be in the championship at the moment but we still feature on sky sports daily, already have televised games sorted and getting players linked with us even though we are not in a position yet to get anybody.

Halesowen Wolf why do you waste your time coming on this website when you know that we are and always be a bigger club than Wolves. Maybe it's your 15 minutes of fame or should I say 1 season, come next year big Mick will do what he is expected to do, take you down

Well the people picking the games obviously think Newcastle are worth watching

Worth bearing in mind just 2 of NEwcastle's games are listed the other 3 fall under the home clubs tv time -
