The Chronicle has reported that fans will have a tough time attending games and returning back to Newcastle, especially after the Ipswich match, all to accommodate the cameras. There are no trains scheduled to run from London to Newcastle after 8.30pm on the 26^th September meaning fans will have to find alternative transport or remain in the area overnight before finding their way home on the Sunday.

Michael Ord of the Newcastle United Supporters Club Committee told The Chronicle;

"It's another example of how the spectator is last to be considered. We are now used to seeing half-empty grounds, and this is one of the reasons.

Ipswich is a very difficult place to get to and from.  There's an assumption the atmosphere generates itself. The crowd are taken for granted."

Newcastle United fan Malcolm Shiels said;

"I don't think it's something that's going to change until supporters are listened to.

I think people in football, particularly in the media, are in for a bit of a shock because people are falling out of love with football for other reasons, and if they compound it with fixture changes like this, it can't help."
