Milner: "I Have Massive Sympathy"
By Tyne-Talk September 7 2008
James Milner jumped ship just before the Keegan saga started, and looking back he must be feeling some relief that his future is now secure. For what appeared to be a tug of war for the player between board and manager has provided the best outcome for the 22 year, a move to Aston Villa which he has wanted since he spent a season on loan at Villa Park.
The under 21 England International gave a brief interview to The Mirror in which he praised his former manager and expressed his sympathy to the fans who are now starting to witness what has been going on at the club for a long time.

He said:

"What is going on now at Newcastle showed what was going on behind the scenes at the club.

Obviously I am delighted to be a Villa player now.

I have massive sympathy for KK and the fans.

He was a fantastic manager to work with, even though it was a short space of time. I can't say a bad word about him."

Yep, good on him. He grafted hard, always. Can understand why Keegan was gutted to lose him.
