May Transfer Gossip
By Tyne-Talk May 11 2008
May transfer rumours so far (and its only been 11 days). Newcastle United have been linked with 21 incoming players so far this month from various sources. In comparison just 6 players have been linked with a move away from the club again by various sources. Kevin Keegan will no doubt be looking to buy in the transfer window despite the "constructive talks" which occured this week.

The players listed in the table below have all been linked with a move to Newcastle United from outside the English Leagues.

Re: May Transfer Gossip
They were drawn up by myself with the information I had to hand & sources.

They are easily updated. If you have a specific source stating N'Zogbia going to x club reported in May then il add it.

I havent seen any new May reports - only those from April.

Re: May Transfer Gossip
Fair enough, Carys.

That entry for Beye just got my ire up...seriously, if we give him up it had better be for good f00king money and not to a side that, with improvement, would compete with the Toon in the league.

Re: May Transfer Gossip
Diatta looked alright in his few performances but was just a stopgap, obviously. With him and the Damage going looks like we'll be full tilt into the Richard Dunne sweepstakes.

Get him in, Chris and Kevin!

Re: May Transfer Gossip
Diatta only ever signed till the end of the season anyway and even then there was doubt as to whether it would be anything but. (despite him saying he wanted to stay)
