Geremi: We Have To Give Them A Good Game & Enjoy
By Tyne-Talk April 28 2008
Newcastle United defender Geremi holds no flame for his former club Chelsea and would not mind in the least should he help his current team steal three points from the London side, who are currently battling it out for top spot in the Premier league against Manchester United.
Geremi knows all too well what success at Stamford Bridge tastes like and as Chelsea and United are currently level on points he will also know only too well how much the game against Newcastle next Monday at St James' Park means to them.

However the Cameroon International isn't fazed as he faces the home fans for the final time this season. He said:

"I'm sorry for Chelsea but that's football.

Football is funny because we are not going to let them come to win. We have to give them a good game and enjoy it.

It's the last game at home, in front of the fans, against one of the big teams.

We've been playing well in the last few weeks and it's a big opportunity to send a message.

It's a big test for us to see how far we can go."

A win for Newcastle will extend their 7 game unbeaten run.
