Cacapa Out For The Season

Claudio Cacapa looks set to miss the rest of Newcastle United's Premier League campaigne after suffering a groin injury in training last Friday morning. The defender who has scored twice in his 21 appearences for the club missed out against Fulham at the weekend, Newcastle's first win since Keegan took charge.

Keegan confirmed the 32 year old Brazilian could be out for up to 5 weeks:

"We have lost Claudio Cacapa for about five weeks.

He pulled his groin in training on Friday and that's why Lamine Diatta was in the squad against Fulham on Saturday."

This squad is hemorrhaging depth right now. It's gonna be white knuckles all the way to the end of the season.
