Lifeline for Forest as Porstmouth go into administration

Pompey's application for administration means they will be deduction 10 points. This puts the side level with Forest, with superior goal difference. 

Whether or not Cotterill's dire Forest can capitalise on this situation remains to be seen, however there are at least some positives to eb drawn from Saturday's game. The Reds scored their first home goal since November against Watford this weekend, in a game which saw no fewer than three Forest debutants.
